Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient BIM Engineer / BIM Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will support the development, coordination, and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and ensure project compliance with BIM standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

  • Implement project-specific BIM execution plans (BEPs) in alignment with ACE and client requirements.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure proper model integration and clash detection.

  • Perform model audits, clash detection, and resolve coordination issues using tools such as Navisworks and Revit.

  • Maintain and update BIM libraries, templates, and standards in accordance with industry guidelines (e.g., ISO 19650).

  • Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to design teams on BIM workflows and tools.

  • Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders to ensure BIM deliverables are met on time and to quality standards.

  • Assist in the preparation of 4D/5D models for project planning, phasing, and quantity take-offs (as needed).

  • Support digital transformation and innovation initiatives within the firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably within an engineering consultancy.

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360; knowledge of Dynamo, Rhino, and other parametric tools is a plus.

  • Familiar with international BIM standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192).

  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and construction detailing.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience with clash detection, model validation, and federated model workflows.

  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
