Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (BIM)

We are currently seeking talented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (BIM) to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience, including 5 years in Abu Dhabi.
• Healthcare project experience is preferred.
• Experience in BIM projects is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Chronologically maps duties starting from Concept Design (CD), moving through Schematic Design (SD) / Design Development (DD), onto automated IFC Submissions (BOQ and Specs generation), and finishing with Site Technical Support (RFIs and Submittals) for HVAC, Plumbing, gases and firefighting systems.
• Expressly dictates methods for orchestrating technical workflows and chairing layout coordination meetings with sub-consultants operating on both native Revit/BIM 360 platforms and legacy 2D CAD systems.
• Experiance in healthcare projects including Abu DHabi DOH, HTM guidelines, ASHRAE 170, critical space pressure regimes (isolation rooms/operating theaters), and Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) is prefferable.
• Experiance in healthcare projects including Abu DHabi DOH, HTM guidelines, ASHRAE 170, critical space pressure regimes (isolation rooms/operating theaters), and Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) is prefferable.
• Mandates proficiency in high-end thermal calculation tools (Carrier HAP, and prefferable IES-VE or Design Builder, ELITE software) in addition to AutoCAD and Revit.
