We are currently seeking Assistant Project Manager to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in engineering consultancy, with at least 2 years in project coordination or assistant project management.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Excellent in Reporting graphic design tools (specially InDesign)
  • Good knowledge of the design and project delivery process from concept through construction supervision.
  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulatory authorities and approval processes
  • Preferably, good skills in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day administration and management of the project.
  • Ensure that project actions and decisions are properly recorded and followed through.
  • Proactively identify matters requiring management attention.
  • Preparing MOMs for Project meetings and distributing it to the attendees.
  • Perform other project management duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
  • Assist the Project Manager in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design projects from concept through tender/IFC stages.
  • Coordinate activities between architectural, structural, MEP, infrastructure,landscape, and other specialist disciplines.
  • Monitor the progress of design deliverables and ensure that project requirements are being addressed.
  • Assist in preparing, updating, and monitoring project programmes and design schedules.
  • Track planned versus actual progress and identify delays or potential slippage.
  • Follow up with discipline teams to ensure timely submission of deliverables.
  • Prepare progress updates and highlight critical issues to the Project Manager.
  • Monitor the overall design development and coordination between disciplines.
  • Assist in reviewing design submissions for completeness, coordination, and compliance with the project brief.
  • Identify design interfaces, coordination issues, and potential conflicts and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Support the management of design reviews and submission processes.
  • Assist the Project Manager in communicating with the Client, Client representatives, and other project stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings and prepare or contribute to meeting agendas, minutes,and action trackers.
  • Follow up on client comments, decisions, approvals, and required information.
  • Maintain ective communication with stakeholders and escalate critical matters when required.
  • Ensure that project correspondence, submissions, approvals, meeting minutes,and other records are properly maintained.
  • Monitor the timely flow of project information between the Client, consultants,and project team.
  • Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project manhours and resource utilization against the approved budget.
  • Coordinate with Discipline Managers regarding resource requirements and planned manhours.
  • Monitor potential scope changes and additional services and bring them to the Project Manager’s attention.
  • Support preparation of progress reports and information required for invoicing and commercial management
  • Prepare or contribute to weekly and monthly project progress reports.
  • Provide accurate information on programme, deliverables, risks, issues,resources, and key project activities.
  • Prepare dashboards, trackers, and other project management reports as required.
