Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are currently seeking talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Studying, reviewing and approve the materials submittals, shop drawings, method statement and HAP calculation for all Mechanical services.
• HVAC, Plumbing Works done by the contractors, to approve, revise or reject based on international Standards, Local Authorities Regulations and Contractual Specifications
• Follow up all the M.E.P payments according to practical works done by the contractor
• Daily Supervision on the sub- contractors for M.E.P works installation, follow up and quality of works, based on the Tender Documents and Concerned Authorities Regulations
• Preparing the Final Settlements as well as following up with Sites’ Progresses related to the monthly payments
• Providing Project-specific construction checklists and commissioning process test procedures for actual HVAC and WS systems, assemblies, equipment, and components.
• Study the contractors RFIs (Request for Information) and reply with appropriate solution.
• Verifying the Material deliveries at site as per approved Material Submittals.
• Supervision and Testing & Balancing works.
• Inspection and approve the Mock-up inspection.
• Review and approve the Project Close-Out Documents including Warranties, Spare Parts, O&M Manuals and As-Built Layouts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant construction supervision experience.
• UAE consultancy/site supervision experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and HAP (Hourly Analysis Program).
• Strong communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
