We are currently seeking a Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma qualification.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional
  • Minimum 4 years of total experience, including 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of UAE experience.
  • Abu Dhabi experience – preferably 2 years

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain MEP mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
  • Model HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems based on approved design information and engineering requirements.
  • Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
  • Perform clash detection and coordination using Autodesk Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools.
  • Review and resolve MEP vs. MEP and MEP vs. structural/architectural clashes.
  • Ensure models comply with the project BEP, BIM standards, LOD requirements, naming conventions, and modeling procedures.
  • Prepare and update shop drawings, coordinated layouts, sections, schedules, and BIM deliverables from the model.
  • Review design drawings and identify discrepancies, missing information, and coordination issues.
  • Support engineers and BIM coordinators in implementing design changes and resolving technical issues.
  • Coordinate model updates and ensure timely submission of NWC/NWD and Revit models.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and prepare/track clash reports.
  • Conduct model QA/QC checks for accuracy, completeness, model integrity, and required parameters.
  • Assist in quantity take-offs and extraction of model-based information where required.
  • Maintain proper model version control and BIM documentation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth BIM delivery.
  • Support the BIM Manager/BIM Coordinator in achieving project milestones and submission requirements.
